Quick! There's a huge 45% off my favorite budget walking shoe and some sizes are already sold out
These Columbia shoes can go both off-road and on

Do you want a walking shoe that can do it all? May I present: the Columbia Konos TRS, an affordable shoe built to transition seamlessly from road to trail.
These shoes feature in my guide to the best walking shoes as the best on a budget thanks to the wallet-friendly RRP and the frequency with which I've noticed discounts pop up.
The slightly pricier waterproof Outdry version of the Konos is now discounted by 45% at Zappos in the deep wave/super sonic colorway. There are still plenty left in some sizes, but they are selling out fast, so you'll want to take advantage of this deal while it lasts.
There's a slightly better deal available from Columbia (50% off, down to $60), but it's only available in the size 12 . In comparison, Zappos has 8.5, 9.5 and sizes 10 through 14 still in stock.
The Konos is a comfortable shoe, which is somewhat surprising as my previous choice for the budget spot in my guide was a little lacking in this area.
It's got great cushioning and is quite bouncy, which is also unusual for a shoe designed, at least partially, for the trial.
I haven't personally tested the Outdry feature, but found the basic TRS held up reasonably well to light rain. Waterproofing fixes one of my main complaints about this shoe, so I can only describe it as an upgrade.
